San Diego Common Grant Application
The San Diego Common Grant Application was designed to help make
the grantseeking process simpler and more efficient for nonprofits.
The common grant application (CGA) has become a standard concept
and practice among grantmakers and regional associations in the
U.S. The CGA effectively streamlines the grantseeking process by
allowing nonprofits to create one application that can be submitted
to multiple funders.
In adhering to the input of grantseekers and grantmakers alike,
we designed an application as comprehensive as possible. Before
you fill out the Common Grant Application, be sure to research the
individual foundations you plan to submit a proposal to (you can
start by visiting their websites, linked below)! While the foundations
and corporations listed accept the San Diego Common Grant Application,
each has different guidelines and priorities. Any funder that has
agreed to accept this form may request additional information at
any stage in the proposal process. Please note: you must submit
the CGA to each organization from which you desire funding. Do NOT
submit the CGA to San Diego Grantmakers; we cannot forward applications.
