There are a growing number of donors and foundations committed to supporting efforts to protecting and conserving San Diego region’s natural resources and lands, and building public awareness and support for local environmental work. In the interest of enhancing the impact of philanthropy on our natural treasures, we would like to convene local environmental funders, to share information about what they are doing, highlight critical areas of need- especially in the context of dwindling resources as a result of the recession- and identify areas of opportunity for working together for maximum impact.
