Learn from the collective experience of community foundation executive staff and development officers who discuss successful strategies to raise unrestricted assets. This topic, given current economic challenges, has brought home the need for many community foundations certified under national standards to focus development efforts on raising unrestricted assets. A white paper, drafted from the group’s collective experiences over the past four years, will be used as a starting point for discussion. Topics to include: engaging board members in unrestricted asset building and ways to move donor prospects from scholarship and advised funds to community grantmaking and unrestricted funds. Objectives:
